A founder seat is any user with full read-write access to your workspace — co-founders, advisors you want inside the cap table and pipeline. Investors you're pitching do not need seats: they receive deck viewing links and intro requests via email, with no account required on their end. The seat count is about your team, not your investor list.
Yes. Upgrade from Solo to Team at any time — you're prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrading at cycle end is also supported, though your data stays safe either way.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Cap table and pipeline data is never used for any purpose other than your own workspace. We don't sell, share, or aggregate it. See our Privacy Policy for the full data handling terms.
You'll be prompted to add a payment method. If you don't, your account moves to a read-only state — your data is preserved for 30 days and nothing is deleted. You can export your pipeline and cap table at any point.
